Using the 3-in-1 sandwich maker open or closed
The 3-in-1 sandwich maker can be used in two positions:
Open/flat position:
Closed position:
The type of cooking plates you are using determine which position you use the 3-in-1 sandwich
maker.
When using SANDWICH and WAFFLE PLATES, always use in the closed position.

When using the BARBECUE PLATES, you may use in the open or closed position.

Using the 3-in-1 sandwich maker in the open/flat position:
First flip the cover leg into the upright position (see illustration picture A).
Open the cover to the half open position (about 90 degrees). Lift the handle up a little further, this
will allow the top cover to release from the 90 degree position. You may now lay the open/flat posi-
tion (see illustration picture B and C).
