Work instructions
• Before filing the tyres, find out the correct tyre pressure
for the vehicle.
• (1.) Place the valve adapter 8 onto the tyre valve.
• (2.) Then rotate the valve adapter approximately half a
turn clockwise.
• Fill the tyres only in short intervals, check the pressure
increase on the digital display 3.
• To fill the tyre, fully press down the operating lever 5,
• Press down the operating lever 5 only half way in
order to reduce tyre pressure.
Battery change
• Change the batteries when the battery level indicator
shows that this is necessary. We recommend using
Würth batteries, Art. No. 0827 01.
• Carefully pull the rubber guard 6 slightly off the dis-
play housing until the two battery compartments are
accessible.
• Important! Change the batteries only when the
unit is not under pressure. Otherwise, the
digital unit could show incorrect measurement
results!
• Pay attention to the battery polarity on the housing.
• After changing the batteries, wait for 1 minute
before performing a new measurement.
• Carefully pull the rubber guard over the housing.

Maintenance and care
• Disconnect the unit from the compressed air mains
when carrying out maintenance and repair work
• Keep the unit clean at all times. Do not use any
aggressive cleaning agents.
• Pay attention to the calibration regulations.
• If the unit is not to be used for an extended period or
if the batteries are exhausted, first remove them in
order to prevent a corrosion risk.
• When you replace the filling hose 1 and the connec-
ting nipple 4, we recommend pipe sealant, "Rohr-
dicht" Art. No. 0893 577 050, for sealing the
connecting thread. Tighten the thread only with mode-
rate force.
Calibration
The national regulations apply here. In Germany, measu-
ring units used for testing tyre pressure must be calibra-
ted in accordance with the Calibration Act of 11
1968. The calibration is valid for 2 years after the end of
the calendar year in which the measuring unit was last
calibrated. Compulsory calibration applies to all parties
that use or make available the unit.
Warranty
We provide a warranty for this Würth unit in accordance
with the legal and country-specific regulations from the
date of purchase (proof with invoice or delivery slip). Any
damage arising will be rectified with a replacement ship-
ment or repair.
Damage attributable to natural wear, overloading or
incorrect handling is not covered by the warranty.
Complaints can only be recognised if you return the unit
unopened and unassembled to a Würth branch or your
Würth field service representative.
