1 Operating Elements and Connections

1 Buttons HOLD COLOURS – CHASE
Depending on the adjusted operating mode the
buttons can be used for different functions:
– in the fixed colour mode [the red LED above the
button HOLD COLOURS (2) lights up]
selection of a lighting colour
– in the colour switching mode [the yellow LED
above the button CHASE (3) flashes]
selection of a colour switching sequence
– in the addressing mode [the red LED above the
button BLACKOUT (10) flashes]
adjusting of an address for a selected unit (but-
tons CHASE 1 – 8 = addresses 1 – 8),

2 Button HOLD COLOURS for switching on the fixed
colour mode [colour selection via the nine buttons
(1) above it]
3 Button CHASE for switching on and switching over
the colour switching modes 1 and 2
– Mode 1: All units connected switch over the
colour in sync. The yellow LED above the button
CHASE lights up continuously. Select the colours
with the control CHASE / SPECTRUM MIX (5).
– Mode 2: Units with different addresses do not
switch over the colour simultaneously so that
running light effects occur as well. The yellow
LED above the button CHASE flashes. Select
the colour sequence with the buttons CHASE 1
to 8 (1). Press the button RANDOM (1) so that all
eight colour sequences will run through succes-
sively.
4 Button SPECTRUM MIX for switching on the spec-
trum mode [colour selection via the control CHASE /
SPECTRUM MIX (5)]
5 Control CHASE / SPECTRUM MIX for colour selec-
tion in the colour switching mode and spectrum
mode
6 Control CHASE SPEED / FADE TIME:
– in the colour switching mode [the yellow LED
above the button CHASE (3) lights up or flashes]
for adjusting the time until the next colour change
will take place
– in the spectrum mode [the green LED above the
button SPECTRUM MIX (4) lights up] when the

control CHASE / SPECTRUM MIX (5) is at the
lower stop in position COLOUR FADE, for adjust-
ing the fading speed
7 Control MASTER for adjusting the LED brightness
of the units connected; in the upper adjusting
range, the stroboscope function will be activated
8 Button SOUND TO CHASE for activating and
deactivating the music-controlled colour change
via the integrated microphone in the colour switch-
ing mode [the yellow LED above the button CHASE
(3) lights up or flashes]; function PREVIOUS PRO-
JECTOR

9 Button FULL ON: switches all LEDs of the units
connected to maximum brightness as long as the
button is kept pressed;
function NEXT PROJECTOR
10 Button BLACKOUT: turns off the LEDs of the units
connected; if the button is pressed again, the unit is
switched back to the previous brightness;
to activate the addressing mode, keep the button
pressed for 5 seconds until the red LED above the
button flashes,

11 POWER switch
12 Jack DC INPUT for connecting the supplied power
supply unit
13 Jack DMX OUTPUT for connection to the DMX sig-
nal input of an LED spotlight or LED panel
14 Switch CHASER CHANNEL MODE
– position 4CH to allocate 4 addresses as a maxi-
mum
– position 8CH to allocate 8 addresses as a maxi-
mum

The units (control panel and power supply unit) corre-
spond to all required directives of the EU and are
therefore marked with

WARNING The plug-in power supply unit is sup-
plied with hazardous mains voltage.
Leave servicing to skilled personnel
only. Inexpert handling may cause an
electric shock hazard.
It is essential to observe the following items:

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
