Grill stone
• Fit the stone on to the appliance over the heating element, with the pol-
ished side up. Caution: avoid placing a cold stone onto a hot element.
• The stone can be used for cooking vegetables, slices meat of fish etc.
as required.
• This stone is entirely natural material. Small cracks resulting from nat-
ural expansion and contraction during heating and cooling, as well as
a change to a darker color are normal and have no detrimental effects.
• Do not place any frozen food or items containing vinegar (such as
pickled gherkins or mustard) on the stone.
Variable thermostat
If the thermostat control is set to its highest setting, the heating element
will be switched on most of the time. If the thermostat is moved to the
left (lower setting), the heating element will switch off from time to time
and then switch on again. After use, return the thermostat to its lowest
setting and unplug the appliance
OPERATION
• Place the grill stone and the double-sided grill plate on the unit, en-
suring that the locating groove on the grill stone is properly secured
by the corresponding lugs on the holding bracket. For safe operation,
the additional ridge on the grill plate must sit securely in front of the
lugs on the holding bracket.
• Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket and push the thermostat all
the way to the right.
• Connect the raclette grill to the mains supply socket and preheat for
about 10 minutes before use.
• Place the food to be grilled onto the cooking top.
• Warning: When grilling is finished, unplug the appliance from the socket.
