Fitting kit
- 2 fitting brackets
- 2 BHc 6×15 screws (small head)
- 2 Ø6 plastic washers
Fitting instructions
- Place motorcycle on the center stand and remove rear wheel.
- Attach fitting bracket to hugger as shown in photo 1 using the Ø6 screws, washers and nuts.
- Remove the brake hose cover and retain original screws. Attach holding bracket as shown in picture 2.
- Unscrew the original fitting nut as shown in photo 2 (*). Position the hugger on the bike and attach it to
the 3 fixing points using the original screws (use the original nut for the 3
bracket). Tighten up the rear wheel.
Caution: ensure that the rear hugger is well centered on the tyre
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of
our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* The mentioned label of motorbikes's manufacturers are indicated exclusively as a reference to Ermax accessories.
* Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break our plastic accessories and aluminium screws.
* A few tyres, faithful to ETRTO standards, may be in fact bigger and higher than dimensions engraved on the tyre (until + 10 mm). They may be not compatible with undertrays and rear huggers which we made with
original tyres and whose dimensions correspond to these ones engraved on tyre.
* Harden the rear shock absorber while drivings with load or on dented roads.
Original screws and holding
bracket
- 1 BHc 5×15 screws (small head)
- 2 Nylock nuts M6
- 1 Ø5 plastic washer
before fully tightening the screws.
