Automatic Testing System:
description and instruction notes
VOLTA light fittings are provided with an emergency unit able to run tests automatically, in order to check the
working order of the emergency system:
- Function test (30 seconds): Once a week, it checks the good working order of components, including lamps.
- Duration test (1 or 3 hours): Once a year, it determines whether the batteries are able to fulfill the
requirements.
When possible, these tests are designed to happen during a period of non-occupancy, in order to avoid
annoyance. The test result is indicated by the colour of the LED inside the luminaire:

fast blinking green
(0,1s on / 0,1s off)
slow blinking green

commissioning of luminaires.
