OWNER/OPERATOR'S RESPONSIBILITY
It is the responsibility of the owners and/or operators to read and understand all
WARNINGS, operating instructions, and maintenance instructions contained on the
product label and in the instruction manual before operation of this unit.
It is also the owner's and/or operator's responsibility to maintain all decals or
WARNING labels and, in general, while in use, maintain the unit in good working order.
If the owner and/or operator is not fluent in English or French, the product warnings
and instructions should be read to and discussed with the operator in the operator's
native language by the purchaser/owner or a designee, making sure that the operator
comprehends its contents.
NOTE:
Before using, read and understand all warnings and
operating instructions.
• Do not exceed rated capacity.
• Use only on a hard, level surface.
• Make sure load is at lowest point before moving.
• Only use slings, levellers, chains or other attachments with a
greater capacity than the weight of load.
• Do not allow load to drop or swing sharply. Instability or loss of
load may occur.
• Do not make any alterations to the engine crane.
• Failure to heed to these warnings may result in loss of load and
damage to the leveller, as well as personal injury or property
damage.
WARNING!
Failure to heed all warnings could result in severe
personal or bystander injury or even death.

MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION

Inspect the crane before each use. Check for cracks in the jack support, boom and
boom extension. Check for loose, missing or damaged parts. If the crane is damaged
in any way, it should be removed from service immediately.
Check for unauthorized modification of the product. Modifications to this product
and/or use of unapproved attachments are prohibited due to the potential hazards
that are associated with improper use.
Any hydraulic jack found to be damaged in any way, to be worn or operating
abnormally shall be removed from service until repaired. The owner and/or operator
should be aware that repair of the equipment requires specialized knowledge and
facilities. Only factory authorized parts, labels and decals shall be used on this
equipment.
Perform a visual inspection for cracked welds, bent, loose, or missing parts or
hydraulic oil leaks.
If jack is subjected to abnormal load or shock, remove from service and have it
examined by an Authorized Repair Service.
Clean all surfaces and maintain all labels and warnings.

A. Boom to Upright M
B. Ram Mount to Boom

CHECKING OIL LEVELS

Turn release valve counter-clockwise to allow ram to fully retract.
Remove fill plug.
With jack in vertical position, proper oil level should be even with bottom of hole. If
low, fill with NEW, clean hydraulic jack oil and recheck level. Do not overfill!
Replace fill plug.
Check jack operation.
At this time, consult Troubleshooting section for air removal procedure to purge air
from system.
