5.3 ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS
Electric connections must be carried out perfectly by competent personnel complying with local safety
regulations.

Before making connections be sure that electric power is disconnected and that it cannot be reconnected
accidentally. Earth cable must be connected before network cables; in case of motor dismantling earth cables
must be disconnected at last.
Earthing shall be carried out in compliance with safety regulations and under the installer's responsibility.
The electric control panel and relevant electric equipment must comply with safety regulstions and rules.
Instruments and components of the panel must be suitable to guarantee a reliable and lasting service. The use
of less quality or undersized equipment could cause heavy damages to the motor or / and installation.
Starting equipment, when necessary, must be in compliance with regulations and rules in force.
The electric control panel, manufactured according to the conditions of the place of installation, must be
protected against direct sunlight, located in a ventilated place without humidity and with an ambient temperature
complying with the manufacturer indications.
Should the electric pump be installed in ambients with possible presence of persons, it's necessary to install a
differential switch with residual current (DN) = 30 mA.

5.3.1 SINGLE PHASE ELECTRIC PUMPS

Electric pumps series FUP 1" ½ - JOKER - GV2000 - DIG:
Available with or without automatic fl oating switch. The condenser is included
inside the motor. Protection is care of the end user.
Electric pumps series RW :
Available with or without automatic fl oating switch.
Electric pumps series RW - RWB - RWI - 1500 - 2000 - 2500:
Supplied with Schuko plug or English plug type "GB3" (directives B5 1363 A )
incorporating condenser and manual restart switch. In case electric pump stops it is
necessary to restart it manually.
Electric pumps series FUP BT :
Low tension electric pumps are supplied with 5 mt rising cable,electric panel with
condenser, control and main switch (fi g. 9). A supplementary cable of 0.5 mt is also

supplied for connection between panel and main power plug.
Protections, carried out by end user, should be connected on low tension
Electric pumps series RW AD:
The explosion-proof electric pumps with Eex d llB T3 protection are
supplied without incorporated condenser. Protections must be carried out
by end user.
Electric pumps series RT/RTL2000:
Available with or without automatic fl oating switch. Supplied with electric
panel incorporating condenser and manual restart switch.

5.3.2 THREE-PHASE ELECTRIC PUMPS

lasting running.
Series CAN/DIG only are equipped with thermal and control
switch with automatic restarting protecting winding against
sudden and temporary overheating.
Starting equipment, when necessary, must be in compliance
with regulations and rules in force.
