Selecting the frequency

To power on the Locator, briefly press the
On/Off key (Fig. 1, position 2).
When the Locator is powered on, the top part
•
of the light framing the On/Off key lights up
green.
The display powers up after about two seconds.
To power off the Locator, press and hold the
•
On/Off key for about one second.
Before locating the camera head, the user must
select which frequency the locator should search
for.
Make sure you know the frequency of the
•
transmitter of your camera head. (Operating
Instructions of the camera, chapter "Specifica-
tions")
The locator offers the following options:
8.9 kHz, 9.2 kHz and Auto
If "Auto" is selected, the locator automatically de-
termines the frequency of the transmitter of the
camera head.
NOTE!
If the "Auto" function has been selected, the loca-
tor can only locate the camera head; if it is within
1 m of it.
The selected frequency is shown in the upper right
corner of the locator display, see Fig. 2, Part 8.
Proceed as follows to make your selection:

With the locator on, briefly press the On/Off
button to enter the Frequency-Selection-
Menu.
Use the -/+ buttons to select the frequency.

Briefly press the On/off button again to confirm
•
your selection.
