ASSEMBLY

Step 1: Saw the pole according to the desired passage
height and installation method. The heights shown
alongside have been calculated for a 1.80 m high
passage. Saw the pole 10 cm shorter to take into account
the height of the roof cone. Example: for a palapa Ø
2.20 m with a passage height of 1.80 m and attachment
to a plate, saw the pole at 2.32 m. If the pole is to be
anchored in the ground, saw it 50 cm longer at 2.82 m.
Then according to the selected option:
WITH A SCREW PLATE:
Screw the plate to your tile which must be a minimum of
15 cm thick, with M10 expansion plugs, + suitable metal
screws (not supplied) and screw the mast to the plate
with the 4 supplied screws.
WITH SELF-SUPPORTING PEDESTAL:
Screw the post into the socket with the 4 supplied screws
ATTACHMENT IN THE GROUND, AT LEAST 50 CM DEEP:
Concrete mix for a block of 50 x 50 cm or a tile: 350
kg/m³. Install a PVC tube with Ø 8 or 12 cm interior in
the hole in order to enable the pole to be removed at
a later date.
PLEASE NOTE! TO PREVENT PREMATURE WEAR OF THE POLE, PLACE THE UNSAWN END
ON/IN THE GROUND.
