- Put the battery in its compartment, respecting
the polarity.
- Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
- It is essential that the batteries should always
be the same kind and the same charge. Never
mix alkaline batteries with normal one (Car-
bon-Zinc) and/or rechargeable ones.
ASSEMBLING THE FAN:
- Align the pole (D) with the base (E) and fix
them together by fastening the L-shaped screw
(F) (Fig. 1)
- Carefully pull out the adjustable tube (C) and fix
it on its highest position by tightening the height
adjustment key (Fig. 2).
- Loosen the tighten knob (B) and align the motor
housing (A) to the adjustable tube (C). Fix them
by tightening the screw again (Fig. 3).
- Remove the blade fixing nut (H) and the grill
fixing nut (G).
- Align the holes on the back grill (I) to the points
on the motor housing (A). Lock them with the
grill fixing nut (G). Insert the blades (J) to the
motor shaft on the motor housing and fix them
together with the blade fixing nut (H) (Fig. 4).
- From top to bottom, align the clips of the front
grill (K) with the uppermost mesh of the back
grill (I) (Fig. 5).
- Press the grills with both hands until you hear a
click (Fig. 6). If the logo is straight it means the
placement is correct.
- Fix the grills by tightening the screw on the
mesh clip (Fig. 7).
- Check the correct functioning of the fan.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all products' packaging has
been removed.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function
you wish to use:
USE:
- Extend the cable completely before plugging
it in.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off
button (1/b).
- The fan will start operating at speed 1.
FAN FUNCTION:
- Select the desired ventilation speed by pres-
sing the speeds button (2/a).
TIMER FUNCTION:
- The appliance's operating time can be control-
led (1-7h).
- To program the operating time simply select it
using the timer buttons (4/c).
- The time programmed or remaining time will be
indicated by the timer pilot lights (6).
- After the selected time is over the appliance
will switch off automatically.
OSCILLATION FUNCTION:
- The oscillation function makes it possible to
direct the flow from the apparatus so that it
automatically alternates over a range of 85º.
- To activate this function, press the oscillation
knob on the top of the motor housing (A).
- To deactivate this function, follow the procedu-
re for switching it on in reverse.
WIND MODES:
- This model has three wind modes:
- Constant: The fan operates constantly at the
selected speed.
- Breeze: The fan alternates periods of more
and less power, simulating the feeling of a soft
breeze.
- Night: The fan operates at speed 3 for appro-
ximately 30 minutes, then it switches to speed
2 for another 30 minutes and finally it switches
to speed 1 until it is turned off or the timer runs
out.
- To activate this function, press the modes
button (3/d).
- To deactivate this function, follow the procedu-
re for switching it on in reverse.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
- The appliance height can be adjusted, from
approximately 110cm to 130cm.
- Turn the height adjustment key on the pole
counterclockwise to loosen it. Adjust to the de-
sired height and tighten the key again (Fig. 8)
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
- Turn the appliance off, using the on/off button
(1/b).
