Determination of the duration of the change of temperature
Carrying out the analysis in a 1 cm quartz cell
Duration of the temperature stabilization to the new value:
Approx. 10 min with an accuracy of ±1°C
Approx. 10 min with an accuracy of ±0.5°C
The following procedure can be used to determine the exact duration of the temperature
stabilization:
Pipette 3 mL sample into the cell. Insert the cell in the module and place a temperature
probe in the cell.
Note the initial temperature of the sample and set the temperature that has to be reached.
With the help of a timer, you can determine the exact time needed to reach the desired
temperature.
Note: It takes longer for the temperature to stabilize in plastic cells, due to the lower thermal
conductivity of plastic.
