- Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the blue
status LED flashes quickly and you hear a tone. This
indicates that the lamp's Bluetooth function is ready to
be connected.
Pressing the ON/OFF button once again and holding
it down switches the Bluetooth function back off. The
blue LED switches off and you will hear an audible
tone.
- When the Bluetooth function is active, remember to
also activate it on your mobile device.
- The lamp now appears in your Bluetooth devices list
under the name "VASNER". Establish the connection
by selecting the "VASNER" device.
- If your mobile device asks you to enter a code,
enter 0000. As soon as the Lumbeat is connected to
your device, you will hear an audible confirmation
tone and the blue LED will flash slowly. You can now
play music from your device!
- You can either control the music from your device
or by pressing the Play/Pause and +/- buttons on the
lamp.
- If the connection remains idle for an extended
period resulting in a time out, or if the blue light stops
flashing/illuminating, you can perform a restart by
switching the whole lamp unit off and back on again.
Then simply repeat the steps from the beginning to
establish a connection.
- If you would like to connect another device or
disconnect the existing one, simply press the Play/
Pause button for 2 seconds while the connection is
active until you hear an audible tone. The lamp is now
disconnected from your device and ready to establish
a new connection with another device. If you would
like to then re-establish the connection, simply tap the
Play/Pause button. You will hear an audible confir-
mation that the connection has been established. If
you would like to deactivate the Bluetooth function
altogether, simply press and hold the Play/Pause
button down.
8. USB charging station / USB charger
The Lumbeat lamp also allows you to charge your
mobile phone or MP3 player, providing a fully fledged
charging station right on your desk! To make use of
this feature, simply connect your device using the USB
charger outlet on the back of the lamp.
- If the light and sound system are both in use, the
charging port delivers 1 ampere from the charging
capacity, which is enough to charge mobile phones.
- If the light and sound system are not in use, then
the USB port delivers 2 amperes, which is enough to
charge tablets or else charge mobile phones even
quicker.
