base while making sure that it is seated cor-
rectly.
USE:
- Extend the cable completely before plugging
it in.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off
button (1). The appliance starts operating with
mist.
- You can adjust the mist flow, timer and night
light through the touch screen (J).
- Choose the desired mist flow by pressing the
selector (2).
- We recommend you start with a low flow to
avoid condensation and increase this if neces-
sary.
- If there is insufficient water in the tank, a red
light will flash with a beep for 9 seconds and
the humidifier will turn off. Before turning the
device back on, it will be necessary to refill the
tank with water.
- If during the operation you want to have the
touch screen turned off, press and hold the
Led Light button (3) for 2 seconds. To turn it
on again, press the Timer button (4) or Mist
flow button (2) or On/off led light button (3) for
1 second.
- When you want to stop the appliance from
emitting steam, press the On / Off button (1).
- During the operation, the internal temperature
of the humidifier and the relative air humidity
are displayed on the screen.
LIGHT FUNCTION:
- The appliance has a night light function. To
activate and deactivate this function press the
button (3) on the touch screen.
TIMER FUNCTION
- The appliance's operating time can be control-
led (1, 2, 4, 8 hours).
- To program the operating time simply select it
using the screen button (4).
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Remove the water from the water tank.
- Clean the appliance.
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Clean the electrical equipment and the mains
connection with a damp cloth and dry. DO
NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
for cleaning the appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid or place it under running water.
- Never submerge the connector in water or any
other liquid or place it under running water.
- If the appliance is not in good condition of
cleanliness, its surface may degrade and
inexorably affect the duration of the appliance's
useful life and could become unsafe to use.
- Then dry all parts before its assembly and
storage.
- There may be some scale deposits in the trans-
ducer (E), particularly in areas with hard water:
- Overcome this drawback by cleaning the
transducer (E).
- Rub down with a dry cloth and remove remains
of moisture.
- Do not place the transducer directly under the
tap.
- Do not rub the transducer with hard or metal
objects.
- Do not clean with chemical products.
HOW TO DEAL WITH LIME SCALE
INCRUSTATIONS:
- For the appliance to work correctly it should be
kept free of limescale or magnesium incrusta-
tions caused by the use of hard water.
- To prevent this kind of problem, we recommend
the use of water with low lime or magnesium
mineralisation.
- However, if it is not possible to use the kind
of water recommended above, you should
periodically remove the limescale from the
appliance:
- Every 6 weeks if the water is "very hard".
- Every 12 weeks if the water is "hard".
