SCREWDRIVER BIT SELECTION
Always select the correct screwdriver bit for the screw being used. Use the largest possible
size that will fit into the screw to avoid damaging the screw or the bit.
OPERATION
1. Insert bit (1) into the chuck (2) as far as it will go.
2. Grasp the tool firmly with both hands, align the bit with the screw and press it firmly into the
screw.
3. Start the tool by squeezing the trigger switch (3). Squeeze the top of the switch to turn the screw in
forward. Squeeze thebottom of the switch to turn the screw in reverse.

Safe working:

Untidiness in working areas increases the risk of an accident.

Never expose your power tools to rain.Do not use power tools in damp or wet surroundings.Do
not use power tool in the vicinity of combustible fluids or gases.
3. Protect yourself against electric shocks
Avoid body contact with grounded objects such as pipes,radiators,stoves,refrigerators.
4. Keep children away
Do not let other persons handle the tool or cable. keep them away from your place of work.
5. Store your tools in a safe place
Tools which are not in use should be kept in a dry ,locked place out of reach children.
6. Do not overload your tools
Tools operate better and safer in the performance range for which they were intended.
7. Use the right tooi
Do not use low-power tools and accessories on heavy-duty work. Do not use tools for work for
which they were not intended:for example,do not use a portable circular saw to cut down trees or
cut off branches.
8. Wear suitable work clothes
Do not wear loose fitting clothing or jewellery.They can get entangled in moving parts. Rubber
gloves and non-slip footwear are recommended for outdoor work. Long hair should be protected
with a hair net.
9. Wear safety goggles
You should also wear a face mask for work which produces dust.
10. Connect a dust extractor
If adapters to connect dust extractors and collectors are provided, make sure that these are
connected and used correctly.
11. Do not abuse the power cable

Do not carry the tool by the power cable and do not use the cable to pull the plug out of the
mains socket. Protect the cable against heat,oil and sharp edges.
12. Secure the workpiece
Use clamps or a vise to hold the workpiece. It is safer than using your hands and leaves both
hands free to operate the tool.
13. Avoid abnormal postures
Maintain a safe stance and keep your balance at all times.
14. Take care of your tools
Keep your tools clean and sharp for safe and efficient work. Follow the maintenance
instructions and tips on changing tools. Check the plug and cable regularly and have these
repaired by a qualified service engineer if damaged. Also inspect extension cables regularly and
replace if damaged. Keep the handle dry and free of oil or grease.
15. Disconnect the mains plug
When not in use, before servicing and when changing the tool,e.g.saw blade,bits,cutter etc.
16. Remember to remove keys
Check that the key and adjustment tools have been removed before switching the tool on.
17. Avoid unintentional starting
Do not carry tools which are connected to a power supply with your finger on the power switch.
Check that the switch is turned off before connectiong the power cable.
18. Using extension cables outdoors
When working outdoors,only use extension cables with are approved for such use and marked
accordingly.
19. Stay alert
Keep your eyes on you work. Use common sense. Do not use tools if you have problems
concentrating.
20. Check your equipment for damage
Before further use of a tool, carefully check the safety devices or slightly damaged parts for
proper operation and performance of their intended functions. Check moving parts for proper
function, that they do not stick and are not damaged. All parts must be correctly fitted and meet
all conditions necessary to ensure proper operation of the equipment. Damaged safety devices
and parts should be repaired or replaced by an authorised service center unless otherwise
specified in the operating instructions. Damaged switches must be replaced by an authorized
service centre. Do not use any tool which cannot be turned on and off with the switch.
21. WARNING
Only use accessories or attachments which are listed in the operating instructions. The use of
other tools and accessories can constitute a risk of personal injury.
22. Repair only by qualified electricians
This power tool complies with the pertinent safety regulations. Repairs may only be carried out
by a qualified electrician, otherwise there is a risk of accidents for the operator.
