Zero lead identifies Viega products meeting
the lead free requirements of NSF 61-G
through testing under NSF/ANSI 372 (0.25%
or less maximum weighted average lead content).

Turn off main water supply.

Slide compression nut onto riser tube with
threads facing toward end of tubing that will
connect to fitting.
2 Slide brass ferrule onto copper riser tube.
Use included brass ferrule when
connecting to copper risers only. Brass
ferrule can be installed in either direction.
Use included plastic ferrule when connecting to
plastic risers only. Plastic ferrule is directional and
must be installed in the correct direction to ensure
a proper seal with longer tapered portion of ferrule
towards end of tubing that will connect to fitting.

Insert tube into fitting and bottom tube in socket.

While holding tube fully inserted in bottom of
compression fitting, slide ferrule and nut to fitting
and thread nut onto fitting hand tight. Tighten nut
one full turn using a suitable wrench.

Insert PureFlow Press fitting with attached sleeve
into tubing and engage fully.
6 Ensure full tubing insertion at view holes in
attached sleeve. Full insertion means tubing must
be completely visible in at least two view holes
and partially visible in the one.

Position press tool perpendicular over press
sleeve, resting it against the tool locater ring.

Close handles, using trigger to reduce grip span if
desired.

Extend handle and continue ratcheting until
automatic tool release occurs at proper
compression force.
CAUTION!
Do not press twice.
