Quick Start Guide
Step 2: Controls
(1) Connect a ¼ " cable from your
(EN)
acoustic instrument or line signal to the
channel 1 input.
(2) Press the HIGH/LOW button to set the
sensitivity of channel 1 for instrument or line
signal levels. If the CLIP LED lights up red,
press the button to reduce the input level,
or turn the gain down. The button will light up
green when in the LOW position.
(3) Adjust the channel 1 GAIN knob to set the
channel level.
(4) Press the COLOR button to attenuate the
lower midrange and boost the highs.
(5) Adjust the high, middle and low frequencies
with the EQ knobs.
(6) Connect a dynamic or condenser microphone
using an XLR cable to the channel 2 combo
INPUT. Alternatively, connect an instrument
or line source using a ¼ " cable.
(7) Press the MIC/LINE button to select the
channel 2 XLR or ¼ " input. If the CLIP LED
lights up red, reduce the input volume or turn
the gain down. The button will light up green
when in the MIC position.
(8) Adjust the channel 2 GAIN knob to set the
channel level.
(9) Adjust the high and low frequencies with the
BASS and TREBLE shelving EQ knobs.

Use the PAN knob to adjust how much of the
integrated eff ect is applied to each channel.
Note: The external FX Loop will be blended
to the channel opposite to the Pan setting.
For example, when the Pan knob is set to the
fully-clockwise position, only channel 2 will
be sent to the internal eff ects, while only
channel 1 will be sent to the external FX loop.

Select the type of internal eff ect with the
selector knob. There are 7 types of reverbs,
3 delays, 3 chorus eff ects, and 3 delay/chorus
combination eff ects.

Adjust the LEVEL knob to determine how
much of the internal eff ect is added to
the signal.

The POWER/MUTE LED will light green when
the amp is turned on, and light red when the
mute is engaged via the footswitch.

Adjust the overall output of the amp with the
MASTER knob.
(15)
Connect a stereo source such as a CD or MP3
player via 1⁄8" cable. The Aux In level can be
controlled with the Master knob.
(16)
Engage the 48 V PHANTOM power supply for
use with condenser mics on channel 2.
(17)
Connect a pair of headphones to the PHONES
jack for silent practice. The internal speaker
will be muted.
(18)
Connect an unbalanced ¼ " cable to the
LINE OUT jack to send the signal to a mixer
or external amplifi er. The LINE OUT level
depends on the Master volume and Mute.
(19)
Add an external eff ects processor to the signal
with the SEND and RETURN jacks. The SEND
level depends on the Pan control in the
Eff ects section.
(20)
Send the signal to a tuner via the TUNER jack.
(21)
Connect the optional FSB102B footswitch
to the FOOTSW(itch) jack for eff ects
on/off and mute.
(22)
Send the signal from the DIRECT OUTPUT jack
to a mixer via XLR cable. The DIRECT OUTPUT
level is unaff ected by the Master volume
or Mute.
(23)
Turn the power on and off with the
power switch.
