1. How do I hook up the Woodbourne to my
home network?
You can hook up to your home network by
using Wi-Fi login sharing, the Polk Woodbourne
mobile app or through web pages.
R efer to the instructions that begin on page 5
of this manual.
2. Not sure what network I'm on.
T he Woodbourne's AirPlay LED will be solid blue,
indicating the speaker is connected to a Wi-Fi
network. Unfortunately, you won't be able to tell
which network you're connected to if there are
other wireless networks in your immediate vicinity.
If you hear the music you want to play, you're
connected to your network.
3. Audio sometimes drops out when in AirPlay.
I f that should happen, here's a list of
possible remedies:
• M ake sure the distances between your
Woodbourne, your network router and the
device you're streaming music from are all within
recommended broadcast distances.

• K eep other electronic devices and appliances
a reasonable distance from the Woodbourne and
your router to reduce the chance of interference.
• O ther Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) in
your immediate vicinity could interfere as well.
• M ake sure that other devices are not trying to
stream to the same Woodbourne.
• M ake sure that your Wi-Fi router is configured
with the recommended settings for the
best performance.
• Try another channel for your router.
• R efer to your router's owners manual for
solutions to interference and other issues.
4. It takes a few seconds before I hear music
streamed by AirPlay.
Here are some things to check that
could speed things up.
• P lace your network router closer to
the Woodbourne.
• Look for any wireless network interference
• U se an Ethernet cable to connect your
Woodbourne directly to your network.
5. Woodbourne isn't connecting to my
Wi-Fi network.
Your Woodbourne may not connect to your
Wi-Fi network for any number of reasons.
• Make sure your Woodbourne is powered on.
• Restart your Woodbourne.
• Restart your network router.
• M aybe your router has a new firmware
update available.
6. DTS decoding isn't working.
O nly Dolby Digital decoding is supported through
the optical connection. DTS is not supported. The
green LED indicates that a Dolby Digital signal is
present and streaming over the optical input.
7. The Woodbourne does not power on.
E nsure you have plugged the power cord
into a live wall outlet.
