1. Unlock the swivel arm and lift it up (see "Raising
the swivel arm").
2. Place the mixing bowl on the mixing bowl holder,
initially placing it inclined at a slight angle.
3. Rotate the mixing bowl anti-clockwise as far as it
will go in the LOCK direction.
To release the mixing bowl:
− Rotate the mixing bowl anti-clockwise as far as it
will go in the LOCK arrow direction.
Use the rotary switch to select the power level.
Level Mixing
1 - 2
Heavy doughs (e.g. bread dough, shortcrust pastry or
pasta)
3 - 4
Medium-heavy doughs (e.g. cake mixture)
5 - 6
Whipping liquids, cream, egg whites or puddings
3 - 6
Lighter mixtures (e.g. sponge cake mixtures, pancake
batter, etc.) and mixing and stirring in of ingredients
1-2: low speed
3-4: medium speed
5-6: high speed
