Before fi rst use
1. Before using the device, remove all packaging material and
any labels that may be present on the device, including those
which serve as transport protection or advertising. Never
remove the type plate or any warning notices!
2. Mount the device on the wall (see the "Wall mounting" chapter).
Wall mounting
NOTE!
■
Use the supplied mounting material to attach the wall brackets.
In case of uncertainty as to whether the supplied mounting ma-
terial is suitable for the wall, consult a specialist dealer.
■
Mount the device in a dry, safe and fi rm place.
■
To prevent danger to very young children, it is recommended
that this device be installed with the lowest heated towel rail at
least 600 mm above the fl oor.
■
The device must be installed so that the On / Off switch cannot
be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
■
Before drilling, make sure that no pipes or electric lines run
behind the intended drilling locations.
1. Place the wall brackets (2) one after the other against the wall
and mark two drill holes each (top and bottom). Make sure that
the distance between the wall brackets is correct.
2. Drill holes in the wall and insert the dowels.
3. Screw the wall brackets to the wall.
4. Hook the radiator (1) into the wall brackets.
5. Fit the covers (4) onto the ends of the radiator.
Usage
1. Plug the mains plug into a properly installed, easily accessible
wall outlet.
2. To switch on the device, set the On / Off switch (3) to position I.
The device starts to heat up.
3. Hang towels, clothing, etc. over the struts of the device.
4. To switch off the device, set the On / Off switch to position O.
The device stops heating.
5. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket and allow the
device to cool down.

Cleaning and storage
NOTE!

Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning
pads for cleaning. They can damage the surface.

If necessary, wipe the device with a damp cloth and a mild
detergent. Then wipe with a dry cloth.
•
Allow the device to cool off completely before storing.
•
Store the device in a clean, dry place away from the sun and
children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not function properly, fi rst check whether you
can solve the problem yourself. If these steps do not solve the
problem, contact our customer service.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
The device is not working.
•
Is the mains plug correctly plugged into the socket?
•
Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
•
Check the fuse of the mains connection.
•
Is the On / Off switch in position O? Set the On / Off switch to
position I.
