Intended use

The device is suitable for warming and drying towels and other
textiles.
•
The device is designed for private household use, not for com-
mercial use.
•
Only use the device as described in the instruction manual.
Any other use is regarded as unintended.
•
The guarantee does not cover any defects caused by improper
use, damage, or attempted repairs. This also applies to normal
wear and tear.
Safety instructions
This device is intended only for drying textiles

that have been washed in water.
This device may be used by children from

8 years of age, or by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and / or knowledge, if they have
been supervised or instructed regarding the
safe use of the device and have understood the
dangers that could arise.
Children are not allowed to play with the device.

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
■
carried out by children without supervision.
Keep children under the age of 8 and animals
■
away from the device and the connecting cable.
The device must always be switched off and
■
disconnected from the power supply when not
in use or before cleaning.
Do not modify the device. If the device or the

connecting cable of the device are damaged,
they must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
customer service or a similarly qualifi ed person
(e. g. in a specialist workshop) in order to avoid
hazards.

DANGER – Risk of electric shock

Only use the device in closed rooms.

Never immerse the device and the connecting cable in water
or other liquids, and ensure that they do not fall into the water
or become wet.

Should the device fall into the water, immediately disconnect the
power supply. Do not attempt to pull it out of the water while it is
connected to the mains!

Never touch the connecting cable with wet hands when these
components are connected to the mains.

Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from
packaging material.

Danger of strangulation! Ensure that the power cord is
always out of the reach of small children and animals.

Danger of falling! Make sure that the connected power cord
is not a tripping hazard.

Do not use the device in rooms containing easily fl ammable
dust or toxic and explosive vapours.

Do not use the device in conjunction with extension cords.

Do not operate the device near fl ammable material.
NOTICE – Risk of material and property damage

Connect the device only to a correctly installed socket outlet
with earthing contacts that comply with the technical data of
the device. The socket must also be easily accessible after
connection, so that the network connection can be quickly dis-
connected.

Always switch off the device before removing the plug from the
socket.
■
Route the power cord so that it is not crushed or kinked and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■
Switch off the device and unplug the appliance from the wall
outlet if an error occurs during operation, during a power failure,
or before a thunderstorm.
■
Never pull or carry the device by the connecting cable. When
pulling out of the socket always pull on the power plug and
never on the power cord!
■
Protect the device from other heat sources, open fi re, sub-zero
temperatures, and shock. Protect the connecting cable from
prolonged moisture and wetness.

Only use original accessories from the manufacturer in order
not to interfere with the operation of the device and to prevent
possible damage.
