4 Initi al startup
Remove the remote control sockets and the remote control from their packaging.
Put the batt ery in the batt ery compartment on the front of the remote control.
Here you will also fi nd the setti ng for the system code. This off ers you the opti on
of running several remote switch sets at the same ti me and in the process pre-
venti ng several sets from reacti ng to the same remote control.
Push switches 1-5 up or down and make a note of the confi gurati on you have set.
If you use several sets and remote controls, you should use a diff erent system
code for each remote control. Then close the batt ery compartment.
The next step is to confi gure the individual remote control sockets. There is a
closing fl ap on the back of each remote control socket marked "SYSTEM CODE"
and "unit code". Use a screwdriver to remove the safety screw and open the fl ap.
