NOTES ON B.IQ IR-PUSH-BUTTON RTR
Functions
The B.IQ IR-push-button RTR functions correspond to
those of the B.IQ push-button RTR. The additional infra-
red receiver 3 on the underside allows the device to be
controlled using an infra-red remote control with RC-5
coding, such as the Berker IR hand-held transmitter 1.
Each function key 4 of the B.IQ IR-push-button RTR can
be synchronised using a button 2 of the IR hand-held
transmitter.
Every function incorporated in the software by the
installer can be triggered at the push-button itself just as
effectively as by using the IR remote control.
NOTES
Menu operation can only be performed using the display
buttons 5 and not using the remote control.
Unsynchronised buttons on a remote control will not
trigger any push-button functions.
This short information is similarly applicable to the 4gang
and 5gang versions of the B.IQ IR-push-button RTR.

Mounting instructions
Follow the instructions in section 6.2. of the operating
instructions for the B.IQ push-button RTR.
In this connection, note that the B.IQ IR-push-button
RTR should not be covered by anything such as curtains
etc. Otherwise remote control will not be possible or will
be possible only with difficulty.
