USE INSTRUCTIONS

USING THE CAPER
After gutting an animal, the next step is to skin the animal by removing
the skin from around its head and neck (the "cape"). This requires some
finesse and a smaller, thinner knife. When pulling the skin away, you can
make small cuts to separate the hide. You can also use this knife for field
dressing small birds and other small game.
USING THE TRIGGER SKINNER
When you are skinning the rest of the animal and want to use a knife with
a comfortable grip, you can reach for the trigger skinner. The short blade
and textured grip are molded to fit your hand to give you more control
when skinning. The trigger skinner is also equipped with a gut hook, if
you prefer this style to the more traditional gut hook skinner.
USING THE GUT HOOK
The gut hook is an essential knife to quickly and easily gut an animal
in the field. Use the point and sharp side of the knife to make small
incisions and the hook side to make large incisions without damaging
internal organs. You can use the sharp side to efficiently remove organs
and cut through membrane walls or connecting tissue.
WOOD/BONE SAW
You can use the saw to open the pelvis or open the chest cavity by
separating the rib cage. The saw can also be used to cut tree limbs to
keep them from obstructing your view or to cut tree limbs for kindling or
fire wood.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Wash in warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive or harsh detergents. Dry
thoroughly before storing.
