Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Open
the battery compartment on the back of the unit and remove the safety strip
from the battery compartment. The flat "+" contact must be in the direction of
the spiral. Press the "POWER" button for about 2 seconds to switch on the power
supply. The display of the device shows "00%". Remove the protective cap from
the probe. Perform the test by carefully pressing (without applying too much
force) on the outside of the probes. Ensure that your fingers are dry. If the display
shows a value of approximately 15-20%, then the device is working properly.
Press the "POWER" button briefly to switch the backlight on and off.
