Caution!
The probes are very sharp! Ensure that you do not injure yourself!
After testing the device, insert the probe about 5mm into the piece of wood whose
moisture level has to be measured. Pressing once again stops the measurement.
Press and hold the "POWER" button for about 2 seconds to switch off the device.
Ensure that you replace the protective cap on the probes. Otherwise there is a
risk of injury!
6. "Mode" button
Press the "Mode" button for about 2 seconds to toggle the temperature unit
between °C and °F. Press the "Mode" button briefly to toggle the current meas-
urement between wood (tree symbol) and other materials (house symbol).
7. Changing batteries
Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit. Remove the empty batter-
ies and insert four new 1.5V button cell batteries (type LR44). Make sure that the
polarity of the contacts is correct when inserting the batteries. The flat "+" contact
must be in the direction of the spiral.
8. Additional information about this device
• The probes are very sharp. Ensure that children do not play with it!
• Keep the device dry and wipe it briefly after use to ensure long life.
• Please replace the 1.5V button cells if the display becomes dim or the measure-
ment can not be performed correctly.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use the device for a long time!
• Do not point the probes at people or pets! There is a risk of injury!
