3. OPERATION
The pump must be placed on a fi rm level surface
in order to prevent it from overturning during ope-
ration.
Before connecting the pump to the electricity supply,
ensure the pump is switched off . The switch should
be in the 0 or OFF position.
For infl ating a raft, follow the raft infl ation instruc-
tions.
Switch the pump off and disconnect it from the
electricity supply after infl ating.
The product is prepared for use.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before each usage check the pump, power cable
and plug, if they are not damaged and to ensure
correct function.
When any damage or malfunction occures do not
use the pump.
The suction opening (air supply opening) has to be
cleaned regularly
WARNING:
When cleaning, the pump must always be swit-
ched o from the power supply.
5. REPAIRS
The repair work may be carried out by a person
qualifi ed for performing repairs. More complicated
repair is to be done at the manufacturer. The manu-
facturer is not liable for unprofessionally performed
repair and maintenance work as well as for mani-
pulation on the product if he has not expressed his
consent in advance.
ATTENTION:
Unprofessionally performed repair and mainte-
nance work and manipulation on the product can
result in an early failure of the device or, in the
worst case, to personal injury.
6. STORAGE
Store in a clean and dry place, away from the hea-
ting panel at room temperature.
Do not store in dusty or humid conditions and tem-
peratures below freezing point.
7. PACKING AND TRANSPORT
The device has always to be transported in such way
that neither the device itself nor the power connecti-
on could be damaged.
8 GUARANTEE AND AFTER
GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
The guarantee period is specifi ed in the Purchasing
contract. The Supplier provides a repair or replace-
ment for material or manufacture defects free of
charge.
The guarantee relates to material defects and ma-
nufacture defects caused by the manufacturer that
appear within the guarantee period whereby the
product
a) may be exclusively used for purpose for that it was
manufactured;
b) has to be stored and maintained properly;
c) during the guarantee period has to be repaired
in the service repair shop exclusively;
d) has to be delivered clean and in the protection
packaging.
The guarantee does not relate to
a) defects caused by non-observance of guaran-
tee conditions;
b) parts damaged by usual physical wear and tear;
c) mechanical damage caused by incorrect use;
d) damage caused as consequence of insuffi cient
care.
Guarantee and after-guarantee service is provided
by the supplier.

9. DISPOSAL
When disposing the electric pump the applicable
regulation of the appropriate country must be ob-
served.
