Outlet box installation instructions

Removing the power cord
The power cord is the wire that enters through the bottom of the backplate.
□ Remove the two wire nuts that connect to power cord by twisting counter clockwise. (see diagram)
□ Untie safety knot and pull power cord out through bottom of the backplate.
□ Remove the grommet and use the hole plug (JJ) to cover the hole in backplate.

Installing the mounting plate
CAUTION: Ensure the power is off at the
main fuse box prior to beginning installation.
□ Turn off the switch at the wall.
□ Turn the power off at the main fuse box.
□ Screw green ground screw (FF) onto mounting plate (BB), do not tighten the green ground screw (FF).
□ Attach the mounting plate (BB) to the outlet box and use two outlet box screws (CC) to secure it.
