The model shows an undifferentiated cell of the animal organism at 40,000 times magnification. It
provides an insight into the electron-microscopic structure of the smallest microorganisms capable of inde-
pendent life. The most important functional organelles are shown. In this model, their spatial arrangement
depicts a moment of dynamic equilibrium of a single cell. A cross-section of the nucleus, some mitochon-
dria and lysosomes provides a view of the inner structure.
