PLEASE NOTE!

Do not move the device during operation. Switch off the device and disconnect
it from the mains power before changing the location of the device.
■
Do not leave the device unattended, so that you can intervene immediately in the
event of any faults.
1. Fill the water tank (5) (see the "Filling the Water Tank" chapter).
2. Position the device in the location you want and connect it (see the "Positioning and
Connecting the Device" chapter).
3. Touch the
switch on the device. The sliding door (7) automatically moves down (Picture F). The
device starts to operate on speed setting 1 in normal mode
4. Adjust the settings of the device to suit your individual needs (see the "Overview of
Functions of the Operating Elements" chapter).
The air fl ow can be adjusted up or down. To do this, manually adjust the hori-

zontal slats of the ventilation grille (8) up or down.
Please Note! If you are using the COOL function (16), we recommend that you
deactivate this fi rst before switching off the device and allow the device to keep
running with ventilation for another 10 to 15 minutes. This will allow the honeycomb
fi lter (2) to dry faster and you will prevent mould formation.

Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!

The water tank needs to be emptied and cleaned every three days.
■
No liquid must get into the main device (with the exception of the water tank and
the honeycomb fi lter). Never immerse the device in water!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These may damage the surfaces.
Basic Cleaning
• Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains power.
• Remove the water tank (5) from the device, pour away any remaining water and
clean the water tank thoroughly with mild detergent and warm water. Then dry it fully.
• Wipe the housing of the main device (3) with a soft, damp cloth. More intense soiling
can be removed with a little mild detergent.
• Keep the device ready to operate and clean the honeycomb fi lter (2) as required.
