COOL (16)
Activate / deactivate cooling and humidifying
When this function is active, the water is pumped up from the water tank and runs from
there via the honeycomb fi lter (2) back into the water tank. The honeycomb fi lter is
moistened in the process and thus cools the air fl ow. In addition, the air is humidifi ed.
Activate or deactivate this function by touching the COOL fi eld.
Please Note! This function can only be used if the water tank (5) is fi lled with water at
least up to the MIN marking. If the function is activated when there is not enough water
in the water tank, three beeps are heard and the symbol fl ashes on the displays.
If the quantity of water drops below the required minimum quantity while the function is
active, the pump switches off automatically.

Switch the device on / off
Switch the device on and off by touching the fi eld.
SPEED (18)
Adjust the speed setting
The fan of the device has 4 speed settings. Adjust these by repeatedly touching the
SPEED fi eld. On the display (11) on the top of the device the settings are shown as dot-
ted lines (21); on the front display (10) they are shown as dashes below the temperature
display (Picture C).
ION (19)
Activate / deactivate air purifi cation
When this function is active, negatively charged ions which bind dirt particles from the
air are released. Activate or deactivate the air purifi cation by touching the ION fi eld.
Please Note! This function can only be activated via the control panel.
TIMER (20)
Activate / set / deactivate timer
The device has a 9-hour timer. Set this by repeatedly touching the TIMER fi eld
(1 to 9 – Off). When the timer is active, the timer display h (21) fl ashes on the displays.
Remote Control
The buttons on the remote control (Picture E) correspond to the functions of the oper-
ating elements on the control panel (1).
