 For access to the filter and to remove the filter, follow the
extractor hood manual.
☞ Place the filter in the included bag or in a suitable collection
container (such as a bucket).
☞ Loosen the lock nuts.
☞ Remove the lid frame.
☞ Lift off the upper lid plate.
☞ Pour out the used activated charcoal.
☞ Remove the remaining activated charcoal from the filter parts.
☞ Clean the empty filter with a mild household cleaner.
☞ Dispose of the charcoal in accordance with the local applicable
Waste Disposal Act (EU waste code 061302).
☞ Check the internal filter jacket for correct seating.
☞ Place the external filter jacket on the base plate and check for
correct seating.
☞ Pour the new activated charcoal into the filter.
☞ Gently shake the filter to increase the fill density. Make sure the
filter jacket is correctly seated on the base plate.
☞ Fill with activated charcoal to the upper edge of the filter jacket.
☞ Put on the upper lid plate.
☞ Screw the lid frame to adequate tightness — without warping
the filter housing.
☞ Clean the filter from the outside (e.g. using a vacuum cleaner).
