USE OF HAIR IRONS AND CURLING IRONS
According to the model, refer to pictures [A] or [B].
HOW TO USE THE VERSION WITH ELECTRONIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL [A]
• Switching the appliance on:
Connect the power plug to the mains socket complying with the safety warnings
described previously.
Move the switch to ON or press the power switch.
• Temperature selection:
Turn the knob or press the [+] or [-] buttons to set the desired temperature.
The LED light will come on. when the appliance has reached the set temperature,
the light will go off and/or the LED will change colour.
Caution:
If you have been using the appliance for a few minutes and you wish to select a lower
temperature, the appliance will take about one minute to cool down and reach the
new temperature set.
• Hair styling
Proceed according to the instructions in paragraph "hairstyling recommendations".
• Switching the appliance off:
Move the switch to the OFF position or press the appliance's switch until the LED
goes off. Unplug the appliance and leave it to cool in a safe place before storing
it away.
HOW TO USE THE "ON/OFF" VERSION [B]
• Switching the appliance on:
Connect the power plug to the mains socket complying with the safety warnings
described previously.
Press the switch in the ON position.
wait about 2 minutes for the appliance to reach the temperature of use.
• Hair styling
Proceed according to the instructions in paragraph "hairstyling recommendations".
• Switching the appliance off:
Press the switch in the OFF position.
Unplug the appliance and leave it to cool in a safe place before storing it away.
STyLING TIPS
This professional appliance becomes very hot. We recommend that
utmost attention be paid to the condition of the hair that is to be
treated, especially in the case of bleached and deconstructed hair.
We recommend a maximum of 3 seconds of application and to
always test a hidden lock in advance.
• wash your hair as usual, dry and brush it to untangle any knots.
• After drying, do not use hairspray, mousse or gel.
• hold a thin lock of hair between your fingers.
• IF YOU ARE USING A STRAIGHTENER IRON: Place the lock of hair between the plates and
close them. hold the lock taut with one hand while sliding the straightener with
the other hand from the roots to the ends.
• IF YOU ARE USING A CURLING IRON: wrap the lock of hair around the heating element
of the iron and rotate the iron. Start from the tip and move up to the roots of
your hair, ensuring the lock of hair is always properly taut. The extract the iron and
release the lock of hair.
• IF YOU ARE USING A WEAVING IRON: place the lock of hair between the heating
elements and close them. Leave it in for a few seconds. Starting from the root of
your hair, gradually slide the weaving iron down to obtain regular waves.
• Start styling from the nape of the neck and then move on to the sides and lastly
to the front.
