A1 / A2 - Tank support electric heater power supply
230 Vac single phase 50 Hz + ground (class 1). Max. power 3 kW.
Min cable conductor size 3G 2.5 mm² (with protection rating 16 A)
A1: Power must be supplied from a protection and disconnect device in compliance with current
regulations. To be connected directly on the input terminals of circuit breaker Q1 located in the
electrical control box.
A 2: To be connected to the output terminals of contactor KM1 in the electrical control box.
Note: The connection of the grounding conductor of the tank electrical heater should be made
in a safe and lasting

B - Electrical control box power supply
230 Vac single-phase 50Hz + Ground (class 1).
It must be supplied from a protection and disconnect device in compliance with current regulations.
Min. cable conductor size 3G 1.5 mm² ( with protection rating 6 A).
To be connected directly on the input terminals of circuit breaker Q2 located in the electrical control
box.

C1 / C2 – Diverting 3-way valve for DHW tank
C1: 230 V / 50Hz + Ground (30 VA max.) "On / Off" control signal to be connected to the ECS
electronic board in the electrical control box (terminals Y1 and N) + Ground.
C2: 3-way valve in actuated position signal = DHW, to be connected to the electronic control board
(terminals A4 and C).
Note 1: The solenoid valve is delivered with a 1.5 m cable containing all the conductors.
For installation reasons, this connection may be extended as required (maximum distance = 20 m).
In this case, use 2 separated cables with a unitary size of 0.75 mm²
(one for valve control and one for the valve position signal) - Rated voltage: 300 V min
Note 2: Connection of a possible second valve is made in parallel to the main one.

D / E – Water temperature sensors (tank exchanger water inlet temp. and tank temp.)
Sensors are delivered as standard with a cable measuring 3.5 m long.
This connection may be extended with a 2-conductor cable (minimum size 0.5 mm ² ) and with a
maximum length of 25 meters.
To be connected to the electronic control board (see connection details § 3.4.2).
D: tank exchanger water inlet temperature sensor
It must be positioned on the tank heat exchangers hot water supply pipe (as close to the tank as
possible) using the metal bracket supplied. Apply conductive thermal paste prior to placement
and assemble it with the 2 plastic clamps provided. Insulate the assembly with the insulation
E: Tank temperature sensor
It must be inserted into a sensor housing placed on the tank. Use conductive paste.
Secure the conductor to prevent the sensor from moving accidentally

F – Communication line (BUS)
Use a 2-conductor shielded cable, min. size 1 mm ² .
Total length of the connection: 40 meters (heat pump heating board A1 + control unit + DHW
electrical control box connection).
