PRE-OPERATION
PLACEMENT OF AIR COMPRESSOR
1.
Place the air compressor in a clean, dry, and
well-ventilated area.
2.
The air compressor must be posi-tioned at
least 18 in. (0.5 m) away from the wall or
other obstructions that will interfere with the
ow of air.
3.
Locate the air compressor as close to the
main power supply as possible to avoid using
long lengths of electrical wiring.
4.
The air
lter must be kept clear of obstruc -
tions which could reduce the air
ow to the
air compressor.
WARNING :
If any parts are damaged or missing,
do not operate until the parts are
replaced. Failure to follow this warning
could result in serious personal injury.
WARNING :
Do not use in an environment that is
dusty or otherwise contaminated.
Using the air compressor in this type of
environment may cause damage to the
unit.

ATTACHING THE HOSE

the open end of the hose until start-up

The compressor is assembled at the factory
and ready for use. Check all components to
ensure secure assembly. (such as: rubber
feet, quick connects, gauges, safety valve, air
lter, drain valve, etc.)

OPERATION
PREPARING FOR START UP
WARNING :
Risk of unsafe operation. Firmly grasp
the air hose in hand when installing or
disconnecting to prevent hose whip.
WARNING :
Risk of bursting. Too much air
pressure causes a hazardous risk of
bursting. Check the manufac-tures
maximum pressure rating for air tools
and accessories. The regulator outlet
pressure must never exceed the
maximum pressure rating.
WARNING :
Risk of unsafe operation. Compressed
air from the unit may contain water
condensation and oil mist. Do not
spray un ltered air at an item that
could be damaged by moisture. Some
air tools and accessories may require
ltered air. Read the instructions for
the air tools and accessories.

STARTING THE COMPRESSOR
WARNING :
Risk of bursting. If any unusual noise
or vibration is noticed, stop the air
compressor immediately and have it
checked by a trained service
technician.

Plug the power cord into a proper recepta -
cle.
2.
Turn the ON/OFF Switch (A) to the ON
position, and allow the tank pressure to
build. The motor will stop when the tank
pressure reaches "cut-out" pressure.
3.
Adjust the regulator knob (C) to a psi setting
that is needed for your applica-tion- be sure
it is within the safety standards required to
perform the task.
