between the jaws and the flange is

(4) Verify the jaws are locked into the
crossbar.
(5) The user can then connect the
snaphook or carabiner of their
lanyard subsystem to the D-ring of
the Workman FP Stryder.
Be certain the snaphook or cara-
biner gate is completely closed
and locked.
