this device is made from high quality materials such as 42CrMo4 steel and can be used for both
German and italian drive shaft systems.
Safety information
Work on the 'drive shaft master' may only be carried out by trained expert personnel while wearing
EN
safety goggles. secure the device to a workbench before commencing work. for safe working, a stable
attachment is essential. the information in the operating manual must be observed. the device may
only be put into operation by hand with a maximum torque of 200 Nm (equivalent to 220 kN compres-
sive force). all rights and technical modifications are reserved.
Disassembly instructions
slide the cam ring over the profile tube and the bearing ring groove. for smaller drive shafts or profile
yokes, use the spacer rings supplied with the device. Move the push spindle into the rear position and
press the push plate fully inwards. Now slide the profile tube first through the push plate and then
into the clamping device. fix the tube with the clamping spindle.
ATTENTION!
Before continuing, ensure that the roll pin is removed.
the yoke can now be removed from the profile tube with the push spindle.
the Walterscheid s6 profile will not pose any problems when using this device.
CAUTION!
With coated tubes, ensure that the coating does not become damaged.
remove the yoke and spacer ring(s)

Assembly instructions
Move the push spindle into the rear position. Now slide the drive shaft section first into the clamping
device and then through the push plate. then fix the profile tube with the clamping spindle. Place
the yoke on the tube on the side of the tube clamp and tap it gently with a hammer to fix it in place.
insert the chain piece with pull bar into the yoke and mount to the push plate. the chain length should
be as short as possible. the loose chain piece can now be mounted to the pull bar and push plate
with the same length as the other one, positioned in the same way. When inserting the chains, ensure
that the chains are not twisted.
Pretension the chains with the push spindle and align the pull bar centrally. if the yoke should tilt, a
gentle tap of a hammer will realign it.
ATTENTION!
If the yoke should tilt, do not tighten the spindle any further, align the yoke first.

complete with the following accessories:
1. Pull bar
2. Chains
3. ring no. 1
4. ring no. 2
5. Cam ring
IMPORTANT!
Ensure that the spindles are well lubricated at all times.
