Getting Started
Powering Paper Jamz
To start rocking out with your Paper Jamz Pro drums, move the power switch to the ON position.
The drums start up in Freestyle mode.
Sleep mode
If there is no activity for about 5 minutes, your drums will go into Sleep mode. To wake them, just
turn the power switch OFF for at least 2 seconds and then back ON.
Drum volume control
Drum solos so hot that you need to turn it up? To raise the volume, touch the "+" button. Rocking
so hard that the neighbors can hear you? To lower the volume, touch the "-" button.
Song volume control
To lower a song's volume so your drumming is the star of the show, touch and hold the hi-hat
pedal while touching the "-" button. To raise a song's volume, touch and hold the hi-hat pedal
while touching the "+" button. The song volume resets to the default setting each time you start
a song.
Play Functions
Tapping
To play the drums, tap the drum or cymbal surface using your fingers.
Freestyle mode
In Freestyle mode, you can choose to rock out on
your own or with a song.
To play your own beats over a pre-loaded song, an
official downloadable Paper Jamz Pro song or a song
from your own music library, touch Menu and then
one of the song buttons (Song 1, Song 2 or Song 3).
Stopping or changing the song
To stop a song, touch Menu and then Stop. This will stop both the song and any loop that is
playing over it.
Adding new songs
You can store up to three songs on your Paper Jamz Pro drums depending on song length.
Add songs from your own music library using the free Paper Jamz Pro app or download songs
that have been "Certified Compatible" to take full advantage of enhanced features. Visit
