SENSITIVITY
Before welding set sensitivity to the highest position; then, slowly adjust the sensitivity lower until the filter
returns to a light state.
DELAY TIME
User adjustable delay time is located on the inside of the helmet. Delay time is adjustable from short (0.3s)
to long (0.9s) with varying levels between. Switching time may vary due to different welding types. Delay
should be as long as possible to prevent flashing and protect your eyes.
SHADE SELECTION
Before welding, use correct shade number from table below. Adjust the shade knob up or down to best view
metal work and welding molten pool. Eyes can be damaged if using welding helmet under incorrect shade
number.
WELD/GRIND MODES
Switch allows selection between welding or grinding modes. In grinding mode, the helmet will not auto darken
for better view of metal work.
Attention: Stop using the helmet immediately if the filter will not darken, the darkening speed
is slow, or the filter is flashing and diagnose issue with troubleshooting guide. If unable to
resolve, stop using helmet and contact the dealer.
Before welding be sure the front cover lens is clean, and no dirt is covering the four arc sensors on
the front of the helmet. Also, check the front/inside cover lens and the front lens retaining frame to
make sure that they are secure.
REPLACING LENS
Inside Lens: To remove, carefully pry out the lens with your finger. To replace, insert
one side into the holder, carefully flex lens and insert other side.
Cover Lens: To remove, carefully release inner auto-darkening filter retaining clips
and remove filter. Carefully push cover lens towards the inside of the helmet. To
replace, place new cover lens in lens holder from inside the helmet, then put filter
back in and secure the retaining clips.
MAGNIFYING LENS
Attention: Pitted or scratched lenses reduce vision and seriously reduce impact protection. Replace immediately.

equipped with a magnifying lens holder. All you
need to do is slide lens into holder.
