Technical description
The device has a graphic display and a user interface, which provides the following functions:
• The read out of available parameters of the connected inverter charger combination.
• The switching on and off of the connected inverter charger combination.
• Communication between the inverter charger combination and the device is done using the
industrial link protocol that supports cable lengths up to 50 m. This connection accepts CAT5
Ethernet patch cords (straight wired).

Installing the device

7.1
Mounting the device

Before drilling any holes, make sure that no electrical cables or other parts of the vehi-
cle can be damaged by drilling, sawing and filing.
1. Cut out the mounting hole and drill the holes (fig. 1, page 3).
2. Connect the cable to the device.
3. Mount the device using the mounting screws.
7.2
Connecting the device
Follow the installation instructions for your inverter charger combination to properly connect the
device. The device must be connected in the terminal compartment of the inverter charger com-
bination into the socket for the remote control.
7.3
Setting up the device
➤ Push the rotary control knob for 3 seconds (fig. 2, page 4, 5).
The appearing menu allows the setup of display parameters:
• Key tones
• Alarm tones
• Backlight brightness
• LCD contrast
• Language
