The battery of the solar unit can now charge up in daylight. When darkness falls, the
LEDs switch on automatically. When it becomes light, the LEDs switch off and the
battery is charged via the solar fi eld.
The battery performance may be severely restricted in temperatures well below
i
freezing.
3. Switch LEDs on / off – To switch the LEDs on or off, press the ON or OFF button
on the remote control.
4. Set mode – The product has a choice of three modes (Cold light – Warm light – Flick-
ering light). To set the mode you want, press the ON button on the remote control
several times.
5. Switch off – Press the ON / OFF button on the solar unit again to switch off the
product.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the remote control and the solar
unit (see last section) and disposed of separately from the product at suitable
collection points.
This product is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste elec-
trical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this product as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.
Removing the Battery from the Solar Unit
Batteries must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids or short-cir-
cuited.
1. Remove the 4 screws on the bottom of the solar unit.
2. Cut through the cable with scissors or a knife.
3. Dispose of the battery separately from the solar unit.
