outer edge of the landing, drill with a 14 mm bit and definitively secure, using components 008001 (fig. 1)

17. Fix components 047009 to landing, using components 002040 (drill landing with a 4.5 mm bit).

Assembly of R010 railing (go to point 35 for model R020)
19. Fix components 033149, 005036, 011063 to balusters 127010 not to be used for corner treads (fig. 5).
20. Fix components 033149,033151,005036, 011063 to balusters 127010 to be used for corner treads (fig. 5).
21. Starting from the top, fit balusters 127010, with parts 033142 and 002040, onto corner treads with a height of
about 97.5 cm.
22. Cut sections of handrail 140018 to length; assemble with part 046011, placing part 031076 between them. For
optimal fixing, the handrail must follow about 1/8 of a turn from the contact point.
23. Fix handrail to balusters with parts 002031; keep balusters vertical. Insert angle parts 031061, 031071 and
031072 with screws 012014 and 001017 for changes of direction. Apply end caps 031061 to ends of handrail
with parts 011052 and 004034, drill with a 6 mm bit (fig. 1) (fig. 11).
24. Position the first 127002 baluster; adjust the height according to the balusters already mounted. Insert
reinforcing component 046050 into the 1st baluster. Fix component 033144 to the floor using a Ø 8 bit, so that it
corresponds with the first baluster. Use elements 011053, 008004, and 001004 (fig. 1).
25. Cut a piece of baluster 127012 to length to obtain spacers to connect treads; lock in place with parts 001010.
26. Insert the steel cables into the 031069 parts on the banisters, positioning parts 031068 and 001012 on each
end of the banisters and on one intermediate baluster positioned between the two ends of the banister
side. Fasten the cables at one of the two ends using parts 031068 and 001012, leaving about 15mm protruding
from parts 031069; cover with part 031074 using the adhesive supplied. Tighten the cables by hand and lock
parts 031068 and 001012 respectively working from the lower to the higher end of the steel cable. Once the
final parts 031068 and 001012 have been fastened, cover the ends of the cables with adhesive tape to prevent
them from unravelling whilst being cut. Cut the cables at a distance of 15mm from parts 031069. Remove the
tape and cover with parts 031074 using the adhesive supplied (fig. 1) (fig. 11).
27. Complete assembly of accessories, fitting components 031064 into the lower part of balusters 127010 on
corner treads and into upper part of lateral spacers 127012 (fig. 1) (fig. 11).
Assembly of R010 balustrade
28. Screw part 033063 onto stay 046036 with screw 011038 (fig. 1).
29. Position components 033063 on landing, using components 002040 and 001004. Drill landing with a 5 mm bit,
keeping a distance between centres that allows at least four balusters to be fitted. Position balusters 127014,
with components 031069 facing outwards, and tighten component 001004 (fig. 1).
30. Fix straight handrail 140018 using components 002031 (fig. 1).
31. Depending on position and presence of walls around the stairwell, it may be necessary to position one or two
extra balusters 127014.
32. In this case, a space must be considered that is at the same distance from the other balusters or from the wall.
Drill landing with a 4.5 mm bit and assemble with components 033146, 001004 and 002040 (fig. 1).
33. Insert the steel cables into the 031069 parts on the banisters, positioning parts 031068 and 001012 on each
end of the banisters and also on one intermediate baluster positioned between the two ends of the banister
side. Fasten the cables at one of the two ends using parts 031068 and 001012, leaving about 15mm protruding
from parts 031069; cover with part 031074 using the adhesive supplied. Tighten the cables by hand and lock
parts 031068 and 001012 respectively working from the lower to the higher end of the steel cable. Once the
final parts 031068 and 001012 have been fastened, cover the ends of the cables with adhesive tape to prevent
them from unravelling whilst being cut. Cut the cables at a distance of 15mm from parts 031069. Remove the
tape and cover with parts 031074 using the adhesive supplied (fig. 1) (fig. 11).
Final assembly
34. To further reinforce the staircase at intermediate points, fix components 033010 to wall and join to the balusters,
using components 033056. Drill with an 8 mm bit and use components 008004, 011053, 011057, 005035 (fig. 8)
(fig. 9).

35. Fix components 033147, 005036, 011064 to balusters 127002 not to be used for corner treads (fig. 5).

37. Fit parts 031067 into holes on treads with edge facing upwards (fig. 2).
