1. Warning information
1. The power cord may be inserted in approved power sockets or adapters only.
2. Keep your working area tidy.
Untidiness in the working area can result in accidents.
3. Take account of environmental influences.
Do not expose the power tool to rain. Do not use power tools in damp or wet
environments. Ensure that lighting is good. Do not use the power tool near
flammableliquids or gases.
4. Protect yourself against electric shock.
Avoid touching parts of the body with earthed components, e.g. pipes or heating elements.
5. Keep children away.
Do not let other people touch the power tool or the cable. Keep other people away from
your working area.
6. Store the power tool safely.
Power tools which are not in use should be stored in a dry and sealed-off location,
outside the reach of children.
7. Do not overload the power tool.
You will work better and more safely within the stated power range.
8. Use the correct power tool.
Do not use machines which have insufficient power for heavy-duty tasks. Do not use
the power tool for purposes for which it is not designed.
9. Wear suitable working clothes.
Do not wear any wide clothing or jewellery; you could be trapped by movable parts.
Wear appropriate protective clothing to guard against burns. There is a risk of burning
by liquid solder.
10. Protect your eyes.
Wear protective goggles. When handing adhesives, special attention must be paid to
the warning information given by the adhesive manufacturer. Protect yourself against
splashes of solder. There is a risk of burning by liquid solder.

11. Use the soldering fume extraction device suited to the work location.

If appliances for the connection of soldering fume extraction devices are available,
satisfy yourself that these are in perfect condition and that they are being used correctly.
12. Do not use the cable for purposes other than those for which it is intended.
Do not use the cable to pull the plug out of the socket. Protect the cable against heat, oil
and sharp edges.
13. Avoid abnormal posture.
Arrange your work station in an ergonomically correct way. Avoid bad posture when
working. Always use the correct tool.
14. Take good care of your power tool.
Keep the power tool and accessories clean in order to be able to work more efficiently
and in greater safety. Follow the maintenance provisions and advice regarding the
replacement of filters. Inspect the power tool cable regularly and, should it be damaged,
have it replaced by a recognised specialist. Inspect extension cables regularly and replace
them when necessary. Keep the handles dry and free from oil and grease.
15. Pull the plug out of the socket.
When not using the power tool, before maintenance or when replacing filters.
16. Don't leave any maintenance tools or spanners behind.
Before switching on, check that spanners and adjusting tools have been removed and
that the unit has been properly reassembled.
17. Avoid unintentional starting.
When plugging into the socket or connector, make sure that the switch is switched off
at the mains.
18. Be alert.
Pay attention to what you are doing. Approach your work sensibly. Do not use the
power tool when you are not concentrating.
19. Check the power tool for possible damage.
Before further use of the power tool, protective devices or slightly damaged parts must
be carefully examined to ensure that they are working perfectly and in compliance with
the intended use. Check to see if the movable parts are working perfectly and are not
