IV. ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS
UPDATING
Updating the unit is only necessary when you add or replace an
option board or when advised by your Elipson representative.
The procedure must be done with a WINDOWS computer. Take a
USB memory stick that has been formatted in FAT32 under Windows.
Copy this file to the USB memory stick.
Then insert this USB memory stick into the rear socket of the
preamplifier and turn the unit back on. This update takes a few
seconds during which these messages are displayed on your
screen:
mcu update found
Waiting.. .
At the end of the process, turn off the device by its back switch.
Remove the USB memory stick and turn your device back on.

LIVE – MAIN PHASE
The phase of the AC power supply can make a significant
difference to the soundstage in terms of spatialization and timbre
accuracy.
Use a phase tester screwdriver (not included) to check which Live/
Phase pin is on your power cable.
Make sure that this Live/Phase pin on the power cable is connected
to the right (Live) pin on the power connector, as seen from the
rear panel:
