1.1
General
•
Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
It is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.

Keep this user manual.
It must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.
•
Operate only at easily accessible and FI-secured socket.
•
In case of emergency, during thunderstorms and after use, pull the pro-
duct on its plug housing!
•
Do not open the housing.
•
Only let a trained electrical engineer do installation, disassembling, main-
tenace and repairing work.
•
Compare the specifications of product, power supply and peripherals.
These must be identical.
•
Do not repair defective products by yourself, but contact the dealer or
producer.
•
Do not modify or alter product nor accessories.
•
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, vibra-
tion and mechanical pressure.
•
Do not touch with wet hands.
•
Only use in dry ambience.
•
Do not cover the product.
•
Do not stuck any objects in the device openings during operation.
•
Keep pets and young children away from the product.

This device is an effective protection against annoying insects that are attracted to
UV light, killed and caught.

Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
Description and Function. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not
attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Preparing
•
Compare voltage, mains voltage, frequency and polarity of
product, connected devise and mains.
•
Do not overload the product and attend to its name plate.

Connecting and Operating
Electric shock!
•
Do not touch the metal grid! (1100 V high voltage)
1.
Insert the device with the EURO plug into an easily accessible
vertical socket.
Make sure that the drip tray is positioned in the device and on the bottom
side of the device.
2.
Switch on the device by switching the on / off switch to (I).
The UV LEDs behind the guard shine after switching on.
3.
Switch off the device by switching the on / off switch to (0).
The UV LEDs behind the protective grid go out.

Before working on the device

Empty the drip tray regularly.

Regularly clean the metal mesh with a cleaning brush and the
drip tray with a damp cloth.
Material damage

Clean only with a dry, soft cloth.

Do not use cleaning agents and chemicals.
•
Store cool and dry.
•
Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and
dust-protected ambience when not in use.
•
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
