4. Before initial use
Take the device out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Clean
the device as described in "Cleaning and care" before using it for the first time.
5. Initial use
First make sure that the device is switched off (both switches in the middle (OFF)
position), and then insert the plug of the power cable into the appropriate power
supply socket.
Make sure that you connect the cooler box either to 12V DC (using the cigarette
lighter power cable provided) or to 100V-220V (using the conventional power
cable). Do not use any voltage that does not match the specification on the
typeplate.
Caution! Ensure that you do not connect both the power cables simultaneously!
Use the device only with a power supply!
5.1 Operation
To start the device, move the "COLD / OFF / HOT" and "ECO / OFF / MAX" switch-
es to the desired position.
You can select the device mode using the "COLD / OFF / HOT" switch. Select
"COLD" (Green status LED) for cooling and "HOT" (Red status LED) for heating.
You can switch off the device by moving the switch to the centre "OFF" position.
