WARRANTY
IF YOU NEED SERVICE:
1. Before contacting us to arrange service, please determine whether your product requires repair. Some
questions can be addressed without service. Please take a few minutes to review the Troubleshooting or
Problem Solver section of the Use and Care Guide, or visit www.maytagcentralvacuums.com
2. All warranty service is provided exclusively by Cana-Vac Systems Inc.
Cana-Vac Systems Inc. warrants (to the original purchaser, in it's original installation) that your new Maytag central vacuum
power unit is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years which includes 1 year labor
starting from the date of purchase.
To initiate a warranty claim, simply return your unit with the original (or copy) bill of sale to a local "AUTHORIZED SERVICE
CENTER" for repair or replacement at our option. This warranty is limited to parts only and does not include shipping charges to
the manufacturer if applicable. Any other expressed or implied warranty is not valid. This warranty applies to residential
applications and is for the original homeowner in it's original installation only. Vacuuming liquids, construction materials such as
drywall dust, or any other kind of material that this unit is not designed, or removal of the protective filter voids the warranty. If you
purchased your unit from an online retailer, all warranty claims must be processed through the online retailer from which it was
purchased for warranty eligibility. Labor is included under the warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase shown on the bill of
sale from the "AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP" from where the unit was originally purchased.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY IF INSPECTION REVEALS THAT THE CENTRAL VACUUM POWER UNIT HAS BEEN
ABUSED, MISUSED, OR WILLFULLY DAMAGED BY FIRE, FLOOD, OR ANY OTHER ACT OF GOD.
