7. Lead the bundle of wires along other bundles of wires from the side of the vehicle to the fuse box in the rear seat
(see Figure 3-4).
8. Unlock and pull out the 6-P plug-in connector from the SAM socket in the rear seat. Insert the plug of the brown/red
cable of the wiring kit into chamber 6 and insert the plug of the brown cable into chamber 5 and also connect to
SAM (see Figure 5).
Insert the white plug of the red/black wire to the free socket of the fuse and relay box (see Figure 6). This socket is

marked with white colour.
Insert the 2-P black safety socket for fuses (55 30A and 56 15A) into the free socket of the fuse and relay box (see
10.
Figure 8).
Insert the 14-P socket of the wiring kit into the appropriate socket of the 30-8 module. Fix the module to the right

lateral wall (see Figure 9-10).
12. Fuses of the wiring kit play the following functions in the trailer:
WIRE
red
red/blue
The fuse holder (55) (red/blue wire) can be connected with a 30 A fuse only in the driving mode with trailer.
The trailer controller should be tested by means of a Star diagnostic tool at ESZ:
― menu items
― controller adaptation
― display and possible encoding modification
― switching of the trailer's facility set up to the „available" option
― press F2 (see Figures 11-12)

3-input housing (yellow, white/brown leads) is provided for expanded socket functions. Put this part of lead bunch
behind the trim. To expand socket functions it is necessary to order the following parts:
Function "current supply, charge line and earth"
Trailer indicator defect is signalled by a control light of the vehicle by increased flashing frequency!!
Fix all the leads with supplied band clips, assemble previously disassembled parts.
Connect accumulator and check all vehicle functions with connected trailer or other suitable testing device.
