3.1- General safety warnings

Understand the product. Read and follow the instructions in this manual.
•
Do not disassemble or modify the product.
•
Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled or if any parts appear to be missing
or damaged.
•
Use and store indoor dry environment.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use near water or any liquid.
•
Do not touch with wet hands.
•
To reduce risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when the electric appliance is near
children.
•
Do not allow children to operate this product. It is not a toy.
•
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
•
When the product is not in use or before performing cleaning, turn it off, disconnect the
power source and remove the battery pack.
•
Use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
•
Do not use in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dusts.
•
Never leave the product running unattended.
•
Perform service maintenance by qualified personnel only.
3.2- Additional safety rules for electric fan
•
Do not install near heat source, such as stove, heater or any open flame.
•
Do not operate the fan with damaged or missing guard.
•
Before cleaning or changing accessories (such as battery pack), turn it off, disconnect the
power source and remove the battery pack.
•
Keep hair, loose clothing, finger and any parts of body away from openings or moving parts.
•
When the fan is in use, do not cover with cloth or other materials.
•
Do not use this fan to exhaust hazardous or explosive materials and vapors.
•
Maintain labels and rating plate through the life of service.
3.3- Special warnings when using this product
•
This fan is designed to be powered by either general-purpose AC or Ribimex 20V Li-ion
battery packs.
•
Use the fan with specifically designated Li-ion battery packs (not included). Use of other
batteries may cause fire. See Table 3 for more information.
•
Recharge the battery pack with specifically designated Ribimex chargers (not included).
Use of other chargers may cause fire. See Table 2 for more information.
•
In case DC power is used, the user should refer to the instruction manual of Ribimex battery
pack and charger for safety, quality and operation instructions.
