A battery must be connected with a minimum voltage of 9V in 12V systems, or 18V in 24V systems for
the unit to operate.

OPTIONAL DIGITAL DISPLAY

An optional digital display is available to monitor PV charge performance. The display is available installed in controller
chassis, and as a remotely mounted panel. Both the chassis display and the remote display may be installed and used
simultaneously. The digital display can be selected to show Battery Voltage, Solar Panel Current, or Output Charge Current. If
Solar Panel Current is less than ≈2.5 amps, MPPT may not operate and it is normal for Output Charge Current to show ≈0.1 or 0.2
amps less than Solar Panel Current since the system consumes up to 190/120mA at 12/24V respectively to operate during charge.
Once sufficient PV input current is available for MPPT to operate, Output Charge Current will be higher than Solar Panel Current by
